Fliss Lewis is the founder and innovator behind ‘WOOL SHrED’ for adventurous and environmentally friendly gardeners. Fliss was a shepherdess for over 10 years and had a small flock of pedigree sheep. Fliss is passionate about using sustainable sheep wool for gardening, floristry and horticulture. Sheep wool is versatile in the garden for moisture retention, as a natural slug and snail deterrent, mulch, propagating, hanging basket lining and for soil conditioning. WOOL SHrED products have featured on both BBC and ITV and were used by garden designers at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 and RHS Hampton Court Flower Festival in 2025. Fliss has over the last five years created Horticultural Garden Felt, Garden Twine and Garden Kneelers which are all made with 100% Hebridean wool sourced from UK farms.
