Marchants has built a reputation as a leading independent Nursery – it’s a place to discover unusual perennials you won’t find easily elsewhere, and ones which grow well in this area.

The atmospheric two-acre garden and plant nursery at Laughton near Ringmer is set in a wonderful backdrop of Firle Beacon and South Downs.

And because we propagate all our plants on site, our garden of beautiful borders, undulating fences and gentle curves is our stock bed – so you can see where and how our plants like to grow.

We’re open mid-March until October, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
