LDB Plants

Based in the heart of West Sussex, overlooking the South Downs National Park, LDB Plants is a father and sons family business growing a carefully selected range of high quality hardy perennials and grasses. Over the season, you will find us at local plant fairs, village fetes, horticultural and agricultural shows across Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire.

We have over 25 years of plant growing experience, having grown for and exhibited at a range of horticultural shows, RHS Chelsea, BBC Gardeners World, Birmingham, The RHS Malvern Spring and Autumn Shows, building up a great deal of knowledge and ideas.  After a few years in various industry roles, the love of plants and the search for a better life balance led to us starting to grow perennials again.

Our aim was to share our true passion with our children, so they grow up understanding plants, hard work and the importance of nature. Initially we were only selling at local car boot sales, but we had so much positive feedback from customers that we decided to expand our portfolio to a much wider selection of hardy and drought tolerant perennials.

We only select and grow plants that we like in our own garden. Perhaps we may just like a few too many..  We love growing and we are delighted to be able to share this passion and knowledge with as many keen gardeners as possible.
